Elizabeth Neely is an independent scholar of Greek and Roman literature. She is a recent doctoral graduate of the Ohio State University. Her current research combines traditional textual analysis with modern Trauma Theory for a fresh and informative reading of Ovid's Tristia.
Her primary interests are in Roman Epic, Greek Tragedy, Ancient Medicine, Roman Historiography, and Trauma Theory.
